I bought this exfoliator for me and my mom. And I used this product a few times. I love how smooth and refreshing the skin feels after. The pores tighten and the skin moisturases too. The first time I used Terralina's exfoliator along with the toner was just before heading out to a yoga class. I actually don't mind the smell, but I like olives. I use the exfoliator at the end of the day anytime I feel really dirty from sweat, pollution, dirt, etc. and I feel really clean. Product's not harmful or rough on my combination skin. Only thing I'd change is to have the granules even finer to get even more in my pores!

I had purchased other items and was given the opportunity to try this at a reduced price. I use this product no more than once a week to remove dry skin and to improve my skins texture. You definitely do not need to use too much pressure with any exfoliator but if you happen to do so, this doesn't seem like one of those that would leave scratches if you accidentally did so. The fragrance wouldn't be it's best feature but other than that, I love it!

I have combination skin and thought that this product would be great for me. First thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of olives. It smelled like I was rubbing a tapenade on my face. Second thing was that it was suprisingly harsh. When I was done, my skin was actually blotchy red in the more sensitive parts. I was very surprised.

I will say that my skin was very smooth and looked healthy, so I am willing to give this another try (hence the 2-star rating). But, I think the smell alone will be enough to prevent me from using this regularly. I am disappointed because I love the smell of the other Terralina products!

I use this scrub once a week, but it's gentle enough to use more often. It does have a bit of an acrid smell but that's a minor, momentary sacrifice for such a great effect. It's also typical of more natural products. I also use it in combination with the Terralina daily face wash, toner, and moisturizer. Truly, my face has never been in better condition and it is a direct result of this regimen.
